hello, my name is Mrs. Kingston.
What do you want to be when you grow up? An elementary teacher! That's what I wrote in my sixth grade yearbook. I am the product of two middle school physical education teachers. Both of my parents retired after 32 years as middle school physical education teachers in California which is where I grew up. My younger sister also made her way into the classroom following a career in marketing.
My husband, a Montana native, and I welcomed our daughter, Olive, last August. She just turned one and is "talking," walking, and exploring the world around her! I attended Dominican University where I received my BA and Credential in 4 years through their Blended Liberal Studies Program. While attending Dominican I played soccer and basketball. Go Penguins!! Prior to moving to Montana in 2018 I taught fourth grade for twelve years. I am thrilled to be beginning my fifteenth year in education and third year at Broadwater as the 4/5 multiage teacher. As a life long athlete I am a firm believer in the power of teamwork. In my eyes teamwork includes communication, respect, responsibility, and effort! I know our 4/5 team will knock all of these out of the park this year. Most importantly we will always strive for our personal best while having fun and enjoying our journey together! |
